I dabbled through the novellas before jumping into the series. I found it to be a great, fast paced start to what seems to be an intense and exciting series. Looking forward to seeing how the relationships continue to grow. Love the breakthrough comedy scenes between the more heart pounding scenes...like prom.

Denial by C.R. Rice is the captivating first book in a young adult fantasy series that genuinely took me by surprise. I only recently discovered my love for fantasy, and this story beautifully transports readers to a world crafted from the depths of the author's imagination. I found myself completely immersed, eager to explore every twist and turn of this enchanting realm.

I chose this book because I love a good story with an epic adventure. I felt like Averie was such a strong character to have so many events happen to her bringing on several emotions all at once and at such a young age. I loved the interaction between the new guy, Silas and Averie. Sweet with a little angst. The book does leave you with more than a few questions to entice you into grabbing the next book in the series. Questions like: Who is The Shadow? What is The Shadow’s relationship with Silas? And just how will Averie go about bringing all of the Realms back together again? I get the feeling that failure isn’t a possibility for her and her friends.

The second book in The Realm Young Adult fantasy series. Anger was a book I was dying to read. I read Denial, the first book, and Loved C.R Rice's vivid world building and her characters that felt so real. I went into this book with high expectations.
I couldn't wait to rejoin Averie and Silas on their journey into the Realm. I felt like I hadn't been away. The plot was again another intriguing and immmersive one. I was right with Averie as she struggled to find her own place in the world. Then Callen becomes her trainer, and we see her having to deal with things she would prefer not to.
I again loved returning to these characters, and before I knew it, I was reaching the end. Yet another ending that really makes you want to book three immediately!
C.R. Rice writes a young adult story that can be enjoyed by readers of all ages. Take my word for it!

Anger is the second book in The Realm Series, and you can read Anger as a stand-alone. I really enjoyed this book and absolutely loved getting to know the characters.

The world building and writing style is simply brilliant. Seeing Averie's character development was very enjoyable. I felt the pace of the story got a little faster when Snip's character was introduced and loved the banter between Silas and Snip.

With a beautifully created world and eloquent descriptive writing, I highly recommend Anger and The Realm Series. The story ended with a cliffhanger, so I can not wait for the next book.
