Shattered Start: The Story of Sera
About
She is held together with carefully stitched threads of deception, tied off with lies.
Before she was the Shadow, Seraphina was a girl who felt the Realm’s pain as her own. Gifted with unexplainable, raw power, she was recruited by the Kings to be a savior—a shield against the coming dark. But Seraphina was never meant to be a hero; she was a storm waiting for a reason to break.
On her sixteenth birthday, the storm arrived.
In a single moment of uncontrolled chaos, Seraphina’s power twisted, catching her best friend, Evie, in the crossfire. Consumed by a grief so deep it threatened to swallow the Realm, Sera was approached by a mysterious entity with a chilling offer: a chance to undo the death she caused.
But resurrection comes with a price that can never be fully paid. In her desperate quest to bring back the light, Sera unwittingly set the stage for the ultimate darkness. This is the story of the choice that fractured a world, the girl who became a monster for love, and the hidden truth behind how Averie truly escaped the fall of the Realms.

Alrighty..........um what?!?!?!?!
I have had a love hate relationship with Sera/Seraphina/The Shadow/who knows who she will be next.
Like everyone else I am a sucker for an origin story, but this one....this one has me questioning if I should be mad at Sera or if I would do the same thing.
I LOVED finding out how Averie made it out.
LOVED all the little ties that threads every person in the Realm together.
HATED HER CRAZY MANIPULATIVE SELF.
Ugh....love hate but couldn't put it down!
By the end I don't know if she is a villian, a sad girl, or just plain crazy.
